Africans were selling there own people who's villages were captured. This helped Africans because at the time the West cost of Africa wasnt able to get a lot of things imported in so selling the people allowed them to pay a lot more for people to deliever to there region. It helped America cause this place has always been built on cheap labor. Political wise it was a lot larger in Africa. IT allowed some people to take power while others lost everything. In North America getting slaves didnt hit polotics until the slaves had been here for a while and some decided that they felt slaves were human also.
