    It had a lot to do with it from both sides. Africans were selling there own people who’s villages were captured. This helped Africans because at the time the West cost of Africa wasnt able to get a lot of things imported in so selling the people allowed them to pay a lot more for people to deliever to there region. It helped America cause this place has always been built on cheap labor. Political wise it was a lot larger in Africa. IT allowed some people to take power while others lost everything. In North America getting slaves didnt hit polotics until the slaves had been here for a while and some decided that they felt slaves were human also.
